Attend these forums to interview candidates for San Diego City Council, Sheriff and more

Ahead of Election Day Nov. 8, the San Diego Union-Tribune Editorial Board, a team of opinion reporters who operate independently of the UT Newsroom, is hosting a series of Zoom Forums in person and live to help San Diego County. voters are told about some of the candidates and measures that will appear on their ballots.

These free events will give community members the opportunity to hear how candidates and ballot measure advocates and critics respond to questions composed by the editorial board of the San Diego Union-Tribune, but attendees will also be able to submit their own questions for consideration.

Each event will last approximately one hour and all in-person forums will be streamed live via Facebook. Conversations will be moderated by editorial and opinion director Matthew T. Hall.

Voters can expect to receive their ballots in the mail about a month before the Nov. 8 voting deadline.
