League of Women Voters Hosts Virtual Candidate Forums – The Livingston Post.com

The Livingston County League of Women Voters is holding virtual forums for candidates for the 48th, 49th, and 50th State House District seats and the 22nd Senate District seat, in time for the arrival of the absentee voters ballot in late September .

In addition, the League invited candidates for the Livingston County Board of Commissioners and school districts in Brighton, Howell, Hartland, Pinckney and Fowlerville to participate in candidate forums.

Recordings of the 2022 Forums, once completed, will be available on the LWV website: lwvlivingstonco.org, our YouTube channel, and on the LWV Facebook page through January 2023. Our Virtual LWV 2020 Livingston County Forums, posted online, garnered over 3,500 views, in addition to those who watched the events live. We anticipate significant public interest in the 2022 General Election Videos.

The League will also launch its online voter guide www.VOTE411.org on September 28, with information on candidates, voter registration tools, polling station locations and other information on the polling day. Candidates in all contested races in the 2022 general election have also been invited to participate in this informative online voter guide.
